Having just taken over and redesigned Alan’s site, we will be conducting a full SEO audit on the site over the coming week.

What on earth is an SEO audit though!

Well, in its simplest terms it covers three areas:

1. The Technical Audit of the code, navigation, structure, titletag/headlines.
2. The Content Audit - relevent content, targeted keywords, readability.
3. The Trust Audit - increasing inbound links, anchor text used, what pages are incoming - increasing outward links.

We’ll do a benchmark test to check levels and then after the audit, and then weekly for the next month or so; after that continual development of the content of the site to ensure that the copy is current, effective and well targeted.

We have just about finished redesigning and reworking alangilchrist.com, a site for Alan who, as Northern Ireland’s Top Hypnotherapist, has now been in practice at the Belfast Hypnotherapy Centre for over 24 years and is the longest practising and most experienced Hypnotherapist in Northern Ireland, and is now practising in Spain.

The site originally developed by Alan himself was full of some excellent content, just need some restructuring. In conjunction with Alan Gilchrist we designed a suitable look and implemented that across the entire site.

We have just completed a new site for the Eating disorders Association (NI) which you can view by clicking on the image below.

At Eating Disorder Association (NI) we don’t claim to have all the answers but we do try to help. The Eating Disorder Association (NI) is run by a group of dedicated volunteers who have either experienced an eating disorder themselves or have helped a loved one through it.

Having this experience we can offer the sufferer or the carer some friendly advice and we can listen with understanding and with sympathetic ears. We empathise with what you are going through.

We were approached by a local driving instructor, Dougie Townley with a view to updating the look of his existing web-site which he had designed himself several years ago.

Whilst the content of the site was very effective, Dougie knew himself that the site needed re-worked to gain the best from the site. In stepped Tech1 to do a quick redesign, keeping all the content as was.

The site now redesigned looks clean and tidy, easy to navigate and effective. Forms have been utilised to enable online bookings to be taken, in addition to retaining all the original content.
